DH Custom Sausage & Specialty Meats is changing its business structure in the near future. We will be a custom cutting/custom processing shop only with no retail products stocked for sale.
Changes in our lives with new commitments and priorities have led us to this decision.
We have enjoyed getting to meet so many wonderful people through our shop. We know our new business format won’t suit everyone, and we wish we were able to serve everyone. Thank you to all who have supported our retail over the last 8 years. We are so appreciative of you.
Who can we help? Anyone who has their own animals or own meat. This includes taking in wild game. For those who don’t, we can help connect you with farmers for whom you could buy from.
When is the change taking place?
Our last regular retail day will be Friday, April 25th, 2025.
We still have stock, and will be filling retail orders until then.
We will re-open in the fall, October 1st, 2025, ready to take in custom work. Our store hours at this time will also be adjusted slightly.
Hours of operation starting October 1st: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-5pm. Saturday 9am-3pm. Closed on holidays.

Providing a variety of service
We offer custom cutting in the fall starting October 1st through to April 25. We can also make custom sausage and do other custom curing like hams bacon jerky ect.

Why we do what we DO
Our strongest desire is to be a part of your meals and help you at the dinner table. Why is that you might ask? We do this because I, "Duncan Henry" was raised in a family orientated home. We had our suppers together four to five nights a week. This is where our family got their quality time together, over Denise Henry's cooking. Big family gatherings around the supper table are some of my favorite memories and something we still do today. Our goal is that we will bring excellent, quality meats to family dinner tables and bring families together through DH Custom Sausage.
